Inspired by https://seshatwuji.wordpress.com/ The picture from one of his poems. I’m trying to do something short rather than my long posts.
I want to succeed; I want to be in the will of God.
Do they go hand in hand?
In God’s will; am I willing?
To do God’s will, to do what God wills, is this what we live for?
John 4:34 New International Version (NIV)
34 “My food,” said Jesus, “is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work.
The catechism begins with:
Question. 1. What is the chief end of man?
Answer. Man’s chief end is to glorify God, and to enjoy him for ever.
What is success, what does it look like through the eyes of God? An article that addressed this very question.
What does success look like through my eyes?
Will I ever fully understand?
That search for significance, the longing for more!
Is it the wrestling of ego and soul, or is it the push of God?
Can it be the selfish ego; that wants, and wants, and wants some more, driven, desiring, dreaming, longing, wrestling, loving, or hoping, wishing, resting, gratuities, breathing, silence, peace, if only for a moment rest from the doing and simply be.
The success is only entered, if we will allow ourselves the freedom to not hold back; as the only limitations are the ones we place upon ourselves.
Will you allow yourself, will we, allow the moment to soar and be free to fly, to be what you have always longed to be.
Give yourself permission, be free! For who is against you, in most cases not those around you, but at times only yourself!
